SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Powered by Dan Bichette’s (NYY) 3-for-5, two-RBI performance on Thursday, the Scottsdale Scorpions (12-20) came full circle to close out the 2014 campaign in identical fashion to their 2014 AFL opener – with a victory over the Salt River Rafters (17-11).

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – New York Yankees prospect Greg Bird continued his phenom-type AFL season, lifting a three-run homer to extend his hitting streak to 16 games and power the Scottsdale Scorpions (9-9) to a 6-2 triumph over the Peoria Javelinas (5-11) on Monday night at Scottsdale stadium.
SURPRISE, AZ – All nine batters hit safely during Friday’s win, Pirates farmhand Dan Gamache extended his hitting streak to 10 games on Saturday and the Scottsdale Scorpions (3-2) swept a weekend set with one-run wins over the Glendale Desert Dogs (1-3) and the Surprise Saguaros (3-2).
