Intramural…What?

Hey Cougs! Intramurals is a H-U-G-E part of the community on campus. Nothing is as exciting as joining up with your wing, floor, or building and competing against the other floors and wings across campus.

The biggest intramural sport for girls is beach volleyball. Even though they have to play late at night, and sometimes in the rain, it is obvious that the girls love it.

This past week was the tournament. The tournament is double elimination, so if you lose once you still have a shot to win the whole thing.

The last three games were really intense. Beta, a wing in Lowell, beat the apartments, and then the apartments went on to beat Gainey West in 3 close games, and then the apartments beat Beta again for the championship and a t-shirt.

The men’s soccer championship was a huge event for the intramural staff. University Hall 4 South lost to the apartments in overtime. (I’m pretty sure by now you’ll know we take soccer pretty serious here).

Catch ya later Cougs!
