Greetings Cougars! It’s Thanksgiving. A time to reflect on the things that we are thankful for. I really encourage you to tell me what you’re thankful for this year.

The Bible even talks a little about giving thanks to God. I like how Colossians 3:17 puts it. “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (ESV). We have to show God how thankful we are for Him on a daily basis. Do you think we forget that and only really thank Him on days like today? I think so, sometimes anyway. I want to challenge you to thank God everyday for one thing that He did in your life that day. The thing could be good, it could be bad, all that matters is that we are thankful God is using us somehow.

I’m thankful for several things. Here is a small list for you (they are in no particular order):

• The chance to go to college and be the SAU mascot 🙂
• My friends
• My family
• My SALVATION

Thanksgiving is such a cool time of the year. I got to go to the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit, this year. It’s kind of a family tradition and I’m going to share a tidbit of it with you through this video:
