HAPPY NEW YEAR COUGARS! It’s 2011. That’s crazy.
I know that when I get back to Spring Arbor, I’m going to still want to write 10 or 2010 next to the date that I write in my notes and on papers. That’s bad.
I’m really looking forward to 2011. It’s going to be a year full of new memories and moments that I hope to never forget.
There are so many cool things about a new year. It’s like a clean slate that allows us to learn from past years and make new mistakes that we learn from. It’s such an interesting thought.
One of the things that I’m excited about in 2011 is that I’m going to Greece in May with Spring Arbor. I bet you didn’t think that Flash got to go on a Cross Cultural, well I do and I’m going to Greece.
I’m also excited about being able to ringing in a new year with great company. The other thing about the new year that makes me so very happy is that it’s marks another year that I’ve got to spend living the life that God has planned for me.
Each day I wake up never knowing what God has in store for me and at the new year, we all make New Year’s Resolutions and try to improve ourselves. Well 1) I want to know what your New Year’s Resolutions are and 2) I want to know why you make them.
I’m not making any New Year’s Resolutions this year. I’m going to get up each and every day prepared to be used by God and love others in ways that I haven’t done in the past. It’s a new year so I’m going to do awesome things with that.
Catch ya later, Cougs!
