Much like Nick Kingham’s performance for the Indianapolis Indians on Tuesday against the Durham Bulls, Tribe starter Casey Sadler took the mound in the series finale and showed them what stellar pitching looks like.

Not only did Sadler have a great night on the mound, the offense of Chris Dickerson and Jaff Decker helped lead the Tribe to a 7-2 victory.

Sadler pitched seven scoreless innings, giving the Tribe another quality start. He gave up seven hits and struck out three while walking one on his way to his eighth win.

Both Dickerson and Decker had four hit games and they both drove in a single run. Dickerson hit his second triple of the season, while Decker added three doubles to put his season total at 17. Jose Tabata (1), Matt Hague (1), Robert Andino (1) and Michael Martinez (2) all contributed to the Indians’ victory by driving in runs.

The Tribe is traveling for a short two game series against the Louisville Bats to close out the 10-game road trip before returning home for two games against the Toledo Mud Hens on Monday and Tuesday.
