Let it Snow

Hello my fellow Cougar friends! Michigan weather is some of the craziest weather ever. I don’t know about you, but without the snow I think December is incomplete.

December gets cold and I think that without snow, it’s just cold. The snow gives us a reason to be okay with the fact that it’s freezing. Without the freezing cold temperatures, there would be no snow and we wouldn’t get to have wonderful snow covered trees, a few snowball fights and being able to look at the snow glisten from the lights around campus from our windows late at night. There’s something magical about the snow, don’t you think?

Well there isn’t just snow outside, there’s some on my floor. I know, you’re probably confused. How is there snow staying inside a dorm? Well that’s because we have paper snowflakes covering our walls. It’s a fun study break. All we have to do is walk down the hall, stop at a table and make a snowflake. I made one and it ended up looking like a square. I was sad, but I’m just going to have to go and try again. Practice makes perfect right?

The people on my floor love the snowflakes and so do I. I can’t wait to see how many more people make. I also can’t wait for there to be inches of snow on the ground, because I’m dying to go out and have a snowball fight with my friends. They might be scared of me, though. I shouldn’t growl at them, that would be bad.

Enjoy the snow while it’s here, because snowmen and snow angels are a winter staple and our campus needs some and I bet your neighborhood might too!

Catch ya later, Cougs!
