Lack of Sleep

Good Morning, Cougars! Unfortunately for me, this morning wasn’t all that wonderful.

See I haven’t been sleeping well lately. I don’t have a clue why, but sleep just doesn’t want to come.

I’ve been up until 6 a.m. some nights. People are getting up to go to work and I’m just closing my eyes. See the problem here -people are getting up to be productive and I’m just having a meeting with the inside of my eyelids and will be sleeping the day away.

Luckily for me, I don’t have a class. If I did, that would be horrendous.

I’m already not a morning person and I really do enjoy staying up late, but I do know something has to change.

I’ve tried coming up with things to help me sleep; listen to music, put in a movie I’ve seen a hundred times (well, not that many times) and even read. None of them have worked. Should I try counting sheep? I don’t think that will work.

So with my lack of sleep, I’m not going to take a nap and hope that my lack of sleep will allow my eyelids to close earlier than at least 4 a.m.

Hopefully tonight I’ll sleep, and I bet all you crazy college students out there will.
