June Fan Pack Letter

June 2015

Dear Tigers Fan,

Thank you for your recent letter to the Detroit Tigers. We appreciate you taking the time to write us and appreciate your support all season long. We are so fortunate to have some of the best fans in baseball!

Heading into June, the Tigers offense ranks second in Major League Baseball in team batting average, while they rank first in the American League in hits, triples and on-base percentage. Miguel Cabrera, who hit his 400th career home run on May 16 at St. Louis, leads the Tigers in home runs and RBI. The team continues to have four players batting above .300 after two months of play (Andrew Romine, Jose Iglesias, Cabrera and Anthony Gose).

The club opens the month of June with a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics at Comerica Park. The Tigers hit the road for a weekend series against the Chicago White Sox before returning home to host the Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds. The Tigers then travel to Cincinnati for two games before heading to New York and Cleveland for three games each. The Tigers return to Comerica Park for a four-game series against the White Sox and will close out the month with the opening game of a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
