With the Lady Cougars still searching for their first League victory, Spring Arbor University’s volleyball team headed to Fort Wayne, Indiana to play the University of Francis. The match ended in straight sets with the Cougars losing 25-16, 30-28 and 25-11.
Ashley Morris contributed 10 kills to the offense and Katie Johnson added 5 kills.
On the defensive end, Lyndsey Murray along with Morris both had 9 digs, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the offense from the University of Saint Francis Cougars.
The women will head to Marion, IN to face off against Indiana Wesleyan University on Sept. 19 before returning to home for a match against Grace College on Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.
