Hi Cougars! If you haven’t been to any volleyball games this season, you need to try to make it to one.
On September 29, the Cougars were playing Bethel College and had a C-O-U-G-A-R C-R-A-Z-Y comeback. College volleyball is best 3 out of 5. Win three games in a row you get to leave, but sometimes games go to all 5. This was one of those games.
The Cougars lost the first game 19-25. Same with the second. In the third game, the Cougars won by a small margin 25-23 and the momentum was now in their hands. The Cougars won the forth game 25-20 and the final and fifth game 15-11.
The stands were packed with fans cheering the Cougars on. It was exciting to have so many people there and at points the crowd was so fired up they were standing.
The Cougars won’t be at home again until October 22, but that doesn’t mean you can’t go out and support the other Spring Arbor sports.
I think that you should go to the bookstore, buy a Cougar shirt of some kind, wear it to a game and cheer as loud as you can (personally I think “LET’S GO COUGARS” will work best).
Catch ya later Cougs!
