SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Graduating seniors, who are considering Spring Arbor University (SAU) in their college searches, visited SAU for an overnight visit on Feb. 14.
“It’s a great school. I love the campus and the school itself. I would love to come here,” said Kaylee McDougall, a visiting student.
At other colleges McDougall visited the senior overnight event is not a huge group event where students meet other prospective students before they start activities the next day.
Students looking at SAU spend the night and learn what college students do. In the morning, students go to chapel and experience a chapel service. After chapel they can sit in on classes and get campuses tours.
“I love chapel. It is one of the best things that you have here, honestly,” said McDougall.
McDougall though that Senior Expedition could be better with more class options and getting the chance to meet the student they will be spending the night with earlier in order to see what else is on and off campus.
Kaylee would suggest prospective students to attend a Senior Expedition or a Junior Exploration in order to get a good view of what SAU is really like.
