DETROIT – The Tigers take on the Chicago White Sox in a four-game weekend series at Comerica Park (June 25-28). Thursday’s and Sunday’s games are scheduled for 1:08 p.m., while Saturday is a 4:08 p.m. start and Friday’sgame starts at 7:08 p.m.

  • All-Star Voting: Voting continues for Major League Baseball’s 86th All-Star Game held at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. MLB’s All-Star Balloting Program is the largest of its kind in professional sports and this year will be conducted exclusively online. Fans around the world can cast their votes for position starters 35 times by visiting tigers.com/vote. Voting is open now through July 2 and fans are encouraged to vote early and often. Miguel Cabrera regained his lead for first baseman this past week, while Yoenis Cespedes is closing in on an outfield start. Other Tigers players are near the tops of their position lists, so make your 35 votes count and VOTE TIGERS!

Thursday, June 25 vs. Chicago White Sox at 1:08 p.m. Gates Open at 11:30 a.m.

  • Play Sun Smart: In partnership with Major League Baseball and the American Academy of Dermatology, the Detroit Tigers bring attention to the prevention of skin cancer. The Tigers host a pregame ceremony featuring local representatives of the American Academy of Dermatology to celebrate its partnership with MLB and encourage players and fans to practice sun-safe behavior. Representatives of the AAD share information about sun-safe behavior at an awareness table on the concourse of Comerica Park near the Brushfire Grille. The partnership is celebrated in a pregame ceremony featuring Jungho L. Kwon, MD, FAAD of Henry Ford Health Systems and Kevin Rand, Tigers Head Athletic Trainer and a skin cancer survivor.
  • The game ball will be delivered by Specialist Jeff Singles of the United States Army from Clarkston, MI. Specialist Singles recently returned from deployment in South Korea. He has proudly served the United States Army for three years.

  • The Henry Ford Historic Baseball Players:
    Historic baseball players from Greenfield Village will be on the Comerica Park concourse and fans will be randomly selected to receive “Innovation Nation” prizes courtesy of The Henry Ford.
  • Victor Martinez BobbleheadThe first 10,000 fans will receive a Victor Martinez Bobblehead, courtesy of Belle Tire.  The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Keith Villa, head brewmaster and founder of Blue Moon.
  • The national anthem will be performed by Northwestern Michigan College’s Canticum Novum Choir of Traverse City, MI.

Friday, June 26 vs. Chicago White Sox at 7:08 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.  

  • CMU Night: The Detroit Tigers along with FOX Sports Detroit are hosting the first installment of their University Days series at Comerica Park. CMU’s a Capella group On the Rox will be performing on the concourse prior to the start of the game, as well as singing the national anthem. CMU cheerleaders and dance team will provide on-field pregame entertainment along with a performance from the CMU dance team before the game. The cheerleaders and dance team members will accompany the DTE Engery Squad girls during the seventh inning stretch.
  • 50:50 Foundation LogDetroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Raffle: The Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Charity Raffle continues at Comerica Park this season. This weekend, the raffle will happen on Friday and Saturday. The partner charity for this weekend’s 50/50 raffle is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, whose mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hogdkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Tickets will be sold on a digital platform and are three for $5, 10 for $10 and 40 for $20. The winner will be announced on the Comerica Park scoreboard before the end of the game. The 50/50 Charity Raffle program has raised more than $958,424 for charity with the single largest one-game prize of the program being $17,039.50.

Saturday, June 27 vs. Chicago White Sox at 4:08 p.m. Gates Open at 2:30 p.m.

  • UMPS Care: Through The BLUE Crew Ticket program, guests will receive complimentary game tickets, a Tigers cap, food and beverage vouchers, baseball themed items and a photo to remember their experience at Comerica Park. Additionally all guests are given the opportunity to meet the umpires and take a photo on the field. Participants are selected through Boys and Girls Club of America and the Dave Thomas Foundation. The entire program is courtesy of UMPS CARE Charities.

  • The game ball will be delivered by Lieutenant Junior Grade John Robert Morgan III of the United States Navy from Taylor, MI. Lietuenant Junior Grade Morgan has served three tours of duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Decisive Storm. His awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medals. He has proudly served the U.S. Navy for four years.
  • The national anthem will be performed by vocalist Kenny Nelson.

Sunday, June 28 vs. Chicago White Sox at 1:08 p.m. Gates Open at 11:30 a.m.  

  • There Goes My Hero: The Detroit Tigers host notable Baltimore radio broadcaster Nestor Aparicio and There Goes My Hero, a national organization focusing to restore hope to Leukemia patients and their families through increasing bone marrow registrants, providing nutritious meals, and supporting blood cancer research. Volunteers from There Goes My Hero provide information to encourage Tigers fans to consider joining the bone marrow registry from a concourse table. Nestor and his wife, Jenn, a leukemia survivor, are in attendance to promote the partnership.
  • FOX 2 Ice Cream BowlGirl Scout Day: Prior to the start of the game, over 800 girl scout participants will take part in a special pregame on-field parade.
  • All kids 14-and-under will receive a Detroit Tigers Ice Cream Bowl, courtesy of FOX 2.
  • All Sunday home games are Kids Days at Comerica Park. All kids 14-and-under will receive a free promotional item as part of the “Every Kid, Every Sunday” giveaway guarantee, enjoy free rides courtesy of Kroger on the Comerica Bank Carousel or the Fly Ball Ferris Wheel, take part in free face painting, have the chance to win a bicycle and are invited down to the field for Kids Run the Bases courtesy of Aquafina and Meijer following the game, weather permitting.
  • The national anthem and God Bless America will be performed by 12-year-old vocalist Brooklyn Stack.
