Dear Tigers Fan,

Thank you for your recent letter to the Detroit Tigers. We appreciate you taking the time to write us and appreciate your support all season long. We are lucky to have some of the best fans in baseball!

The Detroit Tigers expanded their roster to include catcher Bryan Holaday, outfielder Steven Moya, infielders Dixon Machado, Jefry Marte and Josh Wilson, lefthanded pitchers Kyle Ryan and Ian Krol and righthanded pitchers, Jeff Ferrell and Jose Valdez. Moya has been called up in September for two consecutive years and he will be the only roster addition to make his season debut with the Tigers in September, the rest have seen time with the club in prior stints throughout the 2015 season.

Miguel Cabrera continues to mash and is batting .351 (33×94) with 15 runs scored, 11 doubles, two home runs and 14 RBI in his first 25 games following his return from the disabled list. He is also batting over .350 for the season which ranks among the highest of all major league batters.

The Tigers start September with a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals on the road. The club returns to Comerica Park for a six-game homestand featuring the Cleveland Indians and Tampa Bay Rays. The team visits Cleveland and Minnesota continuing division play on the road, before hosting Kansas City, the Chicago White Sox and the Minnesota Twins for the last homestand of the season in 2015. The Tigers end the season traveling to play the Texas Rangers and the Chicago White Sox.
